Race One Highlights

English showcased his dominance in the #11 Firebird, clinching a well-deserved victory. Palmer demonstrated impressive skill to secure the second spot, while Spencer claimed a commendable third place. However, it was a challenging race for Wright, who started in 2nd position but ultimately crossed the finish line in 9th.

In the 5 Litres category, Prefontaine emerged as the leader of the pack, outpacing the competition. Tricia Chant and Gareth Jones put up a strong fight, securing their positions behind Prefontaine in a fiercely competitive race.

Race Two Highlights

English dominated the competition once more, steering the no.11 Firebird to claim his second victory of the weekend. Bishop, behind the wheel of the #48 Duster, executed a remarkable charge to secure the 2nd spot, while Prefontaine exhibited impressive driving skills, guiding the 5 Litre #21 to a well-earned 3rd place finish.

Race Three Highlights

Race 3 and English showed no signs of relinquishing that coveted no.1 spot any time soon. It was a solid performance, leading the pack from start to finish, leaving his competitors in the dust. Bishop, skilfully navigating the #.48 Duster, secured a commendable 2nd place.

Palmer, who faced adversity with a DNF in Race 2 due to a battery failure, roared back with a stellar drive, clinching the flag and landing a well-deserved 3rd place.

And in the 5 Litre class, Prefontaine continued to dominate with yet another class win.

Race Four Highlights

English continued to set the standard with a display of fast and consistent driving. Despite a first-corner incident that momentarily had him pointing the other way, Bishop in the no.48 Duster tenaciously held on, ultimately securing a well-deserved 2nd place.

Not to be outdone, John Prefontaine unleashed a surge of speed in the #21 Mustang, navigating the track with precision and determination. The result? A triumphant 3rd place finish outright.

Race Five Highlights

And here we go, folks, rolling out for the final race of 2023! Prefontaine, in the #21 Mustang, found an extra gear, surging up the field to secure the 2nd spot behind John English's #11 Firebird. For a lap or two, it seemed like Prefontaine might pose a challenge to English for the win, but by mid-race, it became clear that English had things firmly under control.

The battle for 3rd place was anything but predictable, with Palmer in the #20, Wright in the n#55, Bishop in the #48, and Spencer in the #44 fiercely competing throughout the race. Palmer managed to cross the line in 3rd, with Bishop in 4th and Spencer in 5th. Wright, unfortunately, fell a bit further back late in the race.

Crossley in the #565 and Sean English in the #10 engaged in a thrilling duel throughout the race for the 5th and 6th positions. S. English threw everything at it, including breathing fire out the exhaust and executing some impressive slides on old tires, ultimately crossing the line in 5th, with Crossley in 6th.

Chant in the #35 and Jones in the #66 rounded out the field, with Jones keeping the pressure on Chant throughout the race but unable to challenge for the position.

What a spectacular race to conclude an outstanding season! The track witnessed intense battles, strategic maneuvers, and a fitting end to what has been a truly memorable year in racing.
