Round Two - 2024 — Australian Trans Am

In the qualifying round of the second round of the Australian Trans-Am, Wright in the #55 car takes the top spot, edging out Prefontaine in the #21 at the flag! The session saw some drama with a spin from Crossley in the #565, causing a brief interruption mid-session. Despite the chaos, Palmer brings the Firebird home, finishing just half a second behind Prefontaine. What an exciting run only 0.036 in it for pole!

Race One Highlights

Prefontaine put the pressure on Wright right from the green light. Wright made an uncharacteristic error at Turn One, allowing both Prefontaine and Palmer to get through. The rest of the race saw an intense battle between Palmer and Wright, with Wright snatching 2nd place on the final lap. Palmer finished strong, coming home in 3rd.

Race Two Highlights

Race Two and Prefontaine proved too fast for the pack! Meanwhile, Wright and Palmer battled fiercely for 2nd place. Palmer made the pass and held off Wright, securing an impressive 2nd place finish.

Race Three Highlights

In Race 3, Prefontaine was unstoppable up front, proving too quick for both Palmer and Wright. Meanwhile, further down the pack, a fantastic battle unfolded between Crossley and English, keeping the excitement high!

Race Four Highlights

Prefontaine dominated Race Four, taking the win ahead of Palmer and Wright. It was a tough race for English, who unfortunately had to retire early.

Race Five Highlights

Prefontaine makes a clean sweep of all 5 races! Despite low numbers with some drivers out waiting for parts, the weekend featured some fantastic battles. Congratulations to all the drivers for another great weekend of racing!
